Denny Burk and Ray Van Neste have co-sponsored a proposal to amend the doctrinal basis of the Constitution of the Evangelical Theological Society (ETS). I think their proposal is excellent. The current ETS doctrinal basis has two parts: (1) a statement on inerrancy, and (2) a statement on the Trinity. It reads as follows: “The Bible alone, and the Bible in its entirety, is the Word of God written and is therefore inerrant in the autographs. God is a Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, each an uncreated person, one in essence, equal in power and glory.”The changes proposed by Burk and Van … [Read more...] about Help Amend The ETS Constitution Next Week

Feed My Sheep – Piper, Sproul, MacArthur, Others
Earlier this year I had the privilege of reading through this manuscript for Reformation Trust and making various suggestions. You might recall that an earlier edition of this book appeared in 2002 from Soli Deo Gloria ministries. The chapter titles and authors: 1. The Primacy of Preaching - R. Albert Mohler Jr 2. The Foolishness of Preaching - James Montgomery Boice 3. Expository Preaching - Derek W. H. Thomas 4. Experiential … [Read more...] about Feed My Sheep – Piper, Sproul, MacArthur, Others
