I thought I'd take a moment to give readers an overview of the sort of topics on which I'll be posting. The World is Flat by Thomas Friedman Given my engineering background, a book discussing the impact of technology on the global marketplace is understandably of interest. The main idea is that the world is now "flat" because it has become much easier for people to share information across the globe. Some other interesting folk worth reading on the whole issue of the importance of marriage -- and not just Christian marriage, but marriage as a common-grace gift of God to his image-bearers -- are Leon & Amy Kass, Barbara Dafoe Whitehead, Wendy Shalit, Allan Carlson, Beth Bailey, and Kay Hymowitz.
